Features

Integrated Security Platform

SPTel’s multi-level threat detection infrastructure is capable of early detection of potential attacks and will notify customers to decide for the next course of action to protect their Internet facing network. The options are packaged into different Internet Services offerings and caters to different cybersecurity requirements.

1-Pipe Multi-Service

On one single Ethernet Demarcation Device (EDD)[1] or Optical Network Terminal (ONT), additional SPTel connectivity services such as Metro Ethernet and IPVPN can be seamless and swiftly activated through the SPTel Customer Portal.

Resilient Network Infrastructure

SPTel IP core platform is highly scalable and provides symmetrical bandwidth of up to 10Gbps on Metro Ethernet or IPVPN access, and up to 1Gbps on GPON access.  The core platform has a full redundancy design and multiple upstream peering with local and international Internet service providers.

Auto Backup Port2

Provides protection on the provider's edge (PE) network by auto-failover to the standby port on a different PE router, thus providing higher service availability between customer's site and SPTel's network.

Dual Homing Service

A dual-link solution by pairing SPTel Internet service with a 3rd party Internet Service Provider (ISP) partner to provide a high redundancy internet solution for customer’s owned Autonomous System and IP addresses. Dual Homing service includes a SPTel managed router to ensure the diverse ISP redundancy configuration.

Premium Route

A Value Added Service that offers high quality internet routes with better latency performance to designated countries or regions.

Dynamic Pricing

SPTel Internet Services offers dynamic pricing to provide pricing flexibility for its subscribers.

-  Burstable Bandwidth

Offers Pay-As-You-Use scheme that allows traffic surges beyond customer's subscribed bandwidth plan. Customers are charged for the extra bandwidth used in addition to their subscribed bandwidth.

-  Bandwidth on Demand

Allows activation of up to 10 times of the customer’s subscribed bandwidth or physical port limit (whichever is lower), immediately or scheduled, paying for what you need in extra bandwidth temporarily without the risk of committing to additional contract terms.

Proactive Notifications and Monitoring

With SPTel IOC operating round-the-clock, and powered by a cutting edge Next-Generation network monitoring platform, it is engineered to offer customers swift and accurate notifications and reports on network incidents & escalations for all SPTel services.

Provision. Change. Manage.

An end to end integrated platform with intelligent orchestration ensures that customers enjoy digital self-management, zero touch provisioning, and change management requests with turnaround lead-time as short as 1 hour.  Customers also get access to on-demand service activations and upgrades, and near-real time updates on fault resolution status at a click of a button.
