SPTel Internet Services leverages the power substations and ducts to provide a unique fibre path compared to traditional service providers. The fully Software Defined Network (SDN) enabled IP platform provides service resiliency on a fibre network that is designed and planned with path diversity up to building lead-in pipes, independent from the legacy telecommunication duct network. With Internet Auto-Backup Port value added service, the fibre paths are assigned and provisioned on alternate routes from the active fibre path to deliver high service availability for critical Internet connectivity.

Inherently Secured Network

SPTel Internet Services are delivered on a secured Internet platform integrated with SPTel’s cybersecurity infrastructure that enables seamless Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack detection[1]. Through the SPTel Customer Portal, customer can easily activate our DDoS mitigation service when notified of an attack in progress, or select firewall protection and cloud-based security packages. It is a one-stop-shop with SPTel from connectivity to Managed Security Services, provides simple vendor management and hassle-free procurement process.

Instantaneous Service Quotation, Activation and Modifications

SPTel Internet Services are designed and engineered on a programmable IP core network with end to end integration to SPTel’s Customer Portal, offering zero-touch provisioning on the Ethernet Demarcation Device or Optical Network Terminal and modification of existing services at your fingertips. From requesting for quotations to resource checks before submission of orders, these requests can be performed in near real-time and provide you with the ease and efficiency in your procurement process.   

On-Demand Value Added Services (VAS)

Value Added Services such as Bandwidth on Demand and Additional IP addresses are available on-demand through the intelligent customer portal. This empowers customers who are faced with unexpected ad-hoc traffic surges or network requirements to swiftly respond, upscale and upgrade their connectivity bandwidths or scheduled in advance to activate at a later date and time in preparation for expected seasonal demands as part of peak period planning, or expanding their number of IP hosts to respond to the business growth.  Customers enjoy greater agility and capability in managing and responding to fluxes in business requirements without compromising service quality, at the same time maintaining cost efficiency by committing to only what is needed.
