The main technology for perimeter security is the NGFW solution which instruments deep-packet inspection firewalling that moves beyond port/protocol inspection and blocking to application-level inspection, intrusion prevention and advanced threat protection, infused with intelligence components like IP Reputation services to ensure that protection is always up to date on the latest threats.

SPTel’s Managed Perimeter Protection platform is powered by a best-of-breed Next-Generation threat prevention platform, with round-the-clock support by an Integrated Operations Centre to offer customers comprehensive and holistic protection from cyber intrusions.  

The Managed Perimeter Protection platform is made up of two key threat prevention engines, the NG Firewall and the Web Applications Firewall that provide comprehensive coverage on different types of popular threats that confront Organizations daily.  Managed Perimeter Protection offers two CPE options that holistically addresses different customer requirements and designs: Cloud (VNF) and Physical CPE. ThreatProtect is provisioned using Cloud VNF by default.
